Tara Simon is a certified Pilates instructor, personal trainer and group fitness instructor who has worked for Equinox and Spectrum health clubs, as well as YogaWorks in Southern California.

Tara is a graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia, PA with a BA degree in Art and Digital Media. After college she began a desk job as a graphic designer, and although she loved her job her neck and back began aching and the mere thought of sitting in front of a computer for the rest of her life was daunting. Like many people she didn't realize how much this affected her posture and flexibility. She knew she had to do something about it, and fast.

It was not until Tara took her first Pilates class in February of 2003 that she became hooked and thus was the catalyst for her studies as a Pilates instructor. Tara took her Pilates training at a private studio in Burbank called Center Studio Pilates where she worked with several highly skilled teachers from all different backgrounds including dance, physical therapy and yoga.

Tara Simon specializes in working with and rehabbing injuries, improving golf swings, pre and post-natal Pilates and Pilates for weightloss. Tara's diverse background in rehabilitation and personal fitness enables her to assist people to improve posture, mobility, flexibility and strength.

Standing at only 4'11" tall, people are surprised that she is not taller because they swear she looks it from such improved posture thanks to her Pilates training. She continues to take lessons and workshops from master teachers around the world and has branched out on her own teaching from her in-home private Pilates studio in Costa Mesa, CA.

In addition to Pilates, Tara takes yoga almost daily, enjoys running, spinning classes and holistic nutrition. She not only helps her clients attain their fitness goals through exercise, but also guides them through nutritional counseling for a more well-rounded fitness regimen.
